Anderson Farms Fall Festival — Erie
One of Colorado’s largest fall destinations, Anderson Farms returns September 23 through October 31, 2026. The farm offers a pumpkin patch, an extensive corn maze and a long list of attractions for children and adults.
Families can spend the day searching for the perfect pumpkin and exploring the farm, while older visitors looking for a scare can return after dark for Terror in the Corn on select nights. Because the festival can sell out during popular October weekends, purchasing tickets ahead of time is recommended.
Maize in the City — Thornton
Conveniently located for families in Thornton, Northglenn, Westminster, Arvada and the Denver Metro area, Maize in the City opens September 19 for its 2026 season.
This family-owned fall festival features a 20-acre corn maze, a smaller maze for younger children, a pumpkin field, petting zoo, pony rides and additional attractions. General festival admission is free, while individual activities require separate tickets. The festival initially operates on weekends before expanding its schedule later in October.
Chatfield Farms Pumpkin Festival and Corn Maze — Littleton
The Denver Botanic Gardens Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield Farms is scheduled for October 9–11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission includes access to the farm’s 10-acre pumpkin patch, corn maze and family activities. The beautiful setting near the foothills makes this a favorite outing for families from Littleton, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, Englewood and nearby communities. Timed tickets must be purchased in advance, so plan early.
Cottonwood Farms Pumpkin Patch — Lafayette
For a traditional farm experience, visit Cottonwood Farms in Lafayette. The 2026 pumpkin patch is open daily from September 23 through October 31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Visitors can borrow one of the farm’s red wagons, explore the pumpkin patch, wander through corn and children’s mazes, see farm animals and enjoy weekend wagon rides. The farm also offers winter squash, gourds, local honey and plenty of seasonal photo opportunities.
Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch — Longmont
The family-run Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch begins its main pumpkin season September 17 and continues through November 1, 2026.
Its weekday fall festival provides a more relaxed experience with a hay maze, patch playground, pumpkin displays and optional activities for children. On Saturdays and Sundays in October, the farm adds carnival attractions, face painting, a petting zoo and its popular hand-dipped caramel apples. General admission is free, with activities priced separately.
Rock Creek Farm — Broomfield
Rock Creek Farm is one of Northern Colorado’s longest-running pumpkin patches and an easy fall destination from Broomfield, Westminster, Boulder and the surrounding Denver suburbs.
Visitors can choose pumpkins, explore corn mazes and enjoy a classic agricultural setting. Since outdoor farm attractions can be affected by weather and field conditions, check the farm’s current schedule before your visit.
Fritzler Farm Park — LaSalle
Located near Greeley, Fritzler Farm Park opens its 2026 Fall Festival on September 19.
The farm offers a giant corn maze, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, family attractions, festival food, photo opportunities and a beer garden for adults. Visitors looking for something spookier can experience Scream Acres, the farm’s nighttime haunted attraction, beginning September 25.
Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch — Longmont
In addition to its pumpkin displays and weekday activities, Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch hosts a weekend carnival every Saturday and Sunday in October.
